Dead Space is Isaac Clarke's Level 3 Super Move.Music:
In the warm-up animation, Isaac uses his Plasma Cutter to blow off a hatch in a spaceship, sucking out debris, opponents, and eventually Isaac. Isaac then floats around the stage firing his Plasma Cutter at opponents for KOs. Debris such as ship parts and explosive mines will also float around. The mines can be shot to explode groups of opponents, while opponents can use the non-lethal chunks of metal as cover from Isaac's fire.
Isaac's Level 3 can be somewhat difficult to aim, as the Plasma Cutter is not very precise- especially in reference to diagonal fire. To maximize effectiveness, the Analog Stick controls are recommended so Isaac can move around the field and can shoot at the exact direction as the joystick. Shooting explosive mines cause large explosions that takes out debris the other other players may be hiding behind, or even kill them in a chain reaction.
The Dead Space super highlights a recurring gameplay mechanic throughout the Dead Space franchise- combat in Zero-G space, where Isaac can float and fight in the void of space.
- The appearance of the Level 3 Super looks similar to the Atari game Asteroids and seems to be based on it.
- If Isaac loses a match with his fourth outro on, he will be seen floating around in space, similar to how his opponents float in space during this Super.
- It's name is a clear reference to Dead Space, the franchise Isaac Clarke originated from.
